MNR Designated Cold Water Lake

The Ontario Ministry of the Environment designates Devil Lake as a “cold water lake”.  This means it is suitable for lake trout in terms of habitat suitability, water quality, depth, food sources, and oxygen. There are approximately 15 Cold Water Lakes in the region.
